I just built my first PC, and I'm having a problem right from the start. Every time I power it on, the motherboard's DRAM LED lights up for about 10 seconds, then it switches to the VGA LED for a second, and finally it stays on the CPU LED. This happens every time I start the computer. Additionally, I can't turn the computer off using the power button; I have to cut the power supply directly. I'm concerned that doing this might damage the system further. Here are my specs:
- Motherboard: B650 Eagle AX
- CPU: Ryzen 5 7600
- RAM: GOODRAM (2x16GB) 6000MHz IRDM
- GPU: RTX 4060
- PSU: Vero L5 Bronze 600W
- Case: Silver Monkey X Cassette
Do you think I need to replace the motherboard?

It sounds like there might be an issue with your CPU installation. I suggest you try reseating your CPU cooler, just to make sure the CPU is making proper contact with the socket. Sometimes, bent pins can cause issues, but I know you checked that already. It’s worth a try!
Try this: unplug your PC from the wall and remove the small battery on the motherboard for about a minute. Then put it back and restart the PC. If that doesn’t help, it might be something bigger. Also, if you’re trying to overclock your RAM past 5200MHz, it might cause issues with Ryzen CPUs.
I did reset the CMOS but left the CPU on the motherboard. I checked for broken pins but didn’t find any, and I tried using just one stick of RAM too, but nothing changed. Also, I've noticed the fans rev up faster when starting, and the LED stays on the CPU.
Yeah, I saw your photo, and everything looks fine. Just be careful when you’re reseating the cooler to avoid damaging anything!
