I recently purchased a CyberPower UPS for my gaming PC due to frequent power outages in my area. Lately, I've noticed that even when it's plugged into an outlet, it shows it's running on battery power. I troubleshoot this by turning off the UPS and disconnecting it from the wall, then plugging it back in, which sometimes works but often doesn't. I've also tried various outlets around my home. Now, it's plugged in, but it's not turning on at all; I just hear beeping and the LCD display is blank. I've already contacted CyberPower Support, and they advised me to let it charge overnight and try holding the power button for 15 seconds to see if it turns on, as well as checking another outlet.

Have you checked if the outlet you’re using is delivering the right voltage? Sometimes, places experience brownouts where the voltage drops but power seems okay for most devices. Your UPS might be switching to battery mode to protect your equipment if the voltage from the wall is too low; it could cause it to drain quickly and then not turn on. If this keeps happening and it won’t respond after following CyberPower’s advice, you might be looking at a faulty unit.

Totally agree! It sounds like the UPS is trying to protect itself. If the AVR or voltage regulation is off, you should definitely look into getting it replaced since it’s now not powering on at all.
