Hey everyone! I'm getting back into gaming and playing some older titles like Forza Horizon 4, Fortnite, and Minecraft. However, I'm facing some performance issues; Fortnite is barely hitting 100fps on medium settings, and my PC feels slow and suspicious lately. Just to clarify, I've already done a deep clean and virus checks.
I'm considering whether I need to completely rebuild my PC or if I can just make some upgrades instead. Also, I'd like to sell my old parts to help fund the new build. Here are my current specs: MSI GTX 1050Ti GamingX 4GB OC, Ryzen 7 2700x (with the Stock Prism Wrath cooler), 16GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, ASRock B450 Steel Legend motherboard, EVGA 550W 80+ White PSU, a 128GB SSD (just for Windows and one game), and a 750GB Samsung HDD.
My budget for a new build is around €500, and I'm open to using second-hand parts. Any advice would be appreciated!

Honestly, I think upgrading your current parts is the way to go. A used Ryzen 5 5600X would be a great CPU upgrade, and you'd still have budget left for a more powerful graphics card like the 3080 Ti, but that might require a PSU upgrade as well. I'd recommend starting with the CPU and PSU first so you can game while saving up for the GPU. Also, consider bumping your RAM up to 32GB when you can!
If I sell my parts individually or as a complete build, how much do you think I could get? Also, the 3080 Ti seems really pricey; do you have any other GPU suggestions?
