Do I need to upgrade my PSU for a new RX 9060 XT?

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card from a 1060 6GB to a RX 9060 XT 16GB. I currently have a 500W EVGA 80+ White PSU that has been running since 2019. The recommended PSU for the RX 9060 XT is 450W, but I've also recently upgraded to a Ryzen 5900x, which is power-hungry. I'm concerned about whether my PSU can handle the new setup, even though it seems I have around 100W of overhead according to PcPartPicker. Is that enough?

It really depends on the quality of your PSU. Most 500W units aren't made equally—some are built well, and others are not. I'd check the specific model's reviews to see how reliable it is. If it's not one of the better brands, consider upgrading now to avoid issues later.
