I'm looking to replace the SSD in my laptop, but the recommended model from the manufacturer is quite pricey. I was considering the WD SN7100, which doesn't have DRAM. I primarily use my laptop for gaming, graphic design, and video editing. Will skipping on the DRAM be a major issue for my usage?

For regular tasks, DRAM isn't as crucial. But since you're doing video editing, having it might help with quicker access times and better performance during heavy loads.
How much does it really affect editing? Is it a dealbreaker?
