I just found out about Illumio and noticed there aren't many discussions or reviews online, particularly on forums. I'm curious if anyone has actually used it in their environment. What has your experience been like? Do you think it's as effective as it seems?

I checked it out a few years back at Ignite, and it looked pretty neat! But I heard from some folks they got a bit overwhelmed by pricing.
Same here! Great sales pitch, but when we looked at the licensing costs, it just didn’t fit our budget.
In my last job, we used Illumio for network discovery and stream analysis. Overall, it worked really well. But honestly, I prefer handling network segmentation at a lower level. How do you guys manage it?
What do you mean by lower level? Something like NSX or Tetration?
Yep, I remember that too! The demo was impressive, but the quotes were way higher than we expected.
