I recently picked up a game called Hunt Showdown again on my laptop, but I'm facing a frustrating issue with stuttering every five seconds. This is new for me, as I've never had this problem before. While some games run smoothly, this stuttering keeps interrupting my gameplay. I've already reinstalled Windows, updated my drivers, and even used Process Lasso to tweak CPU settings and enabled V-Sync. I also updated my BIOS and adjusted settings with ParkControl for maximum performance. On top of that, I made sure to disable all background processes, uninstalled unnecessary apps, and disabled overlays. I also installed the latest chipset drivers, but nothing seems to improve the situation. Here are my specs: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU (6GB), 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12450H (2.00 GHz), and 16GB DDR5 RAM (4800MHz).

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. When I checked my temps, my CPU was hitting 90-97 and my GPU was around 85-90. I'm wondering if setting the turbo mode in my power management scheme is causing it. Have you checked your settings yet?
It sounds like thermal throttling could be the culprit here. If you haven't already, check your temperatures using a tool like HWINFO to see how hot your CPU and GPU are getting while gaming.
