Hey everyone! I'm having some performance problems with my ASUS ROG Strix G513IM gaming laptop and I'm not sure if getting around 70-90 FPS in Valorant is normal. Here are my specs: I'm running an RTX 3060 GPU, a Ryzen 7 4800H CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and an SSD on Windows 11. I've noticed that when I play Valorant on low settings at 1080p, my FPS doesn't reach the levels that others with similar setups are achieving – they're getting 150-200 FPS! I've tried a bunch of fixes like updating my NVIDIA drivers, ensuring the game uses the dedicated GPU, and closing background apps, but nothing seems to help. Can anyone tell me if this FPS is typical for this laptop, if there are known issues, or if I'm missing something common in the settings? Thanks for any advice!

It sounds like your laptop is defaulting to the integrated GPU instead of using the RTX 3060, which could explain the lower FPS. Make sure in the NVIDIA Control Panel that Valorant is set to run with the high-performance NVIDIA processor. You could also check if there are any BIOS settings that might be forcing it to use the integrated graphics. If not, that could definitely be a bottleneck for your performance!
You might want to check if there's an option in your BIOS related to GPU settings, even though your laptop doesn't have a mux switch. Sometimes laptops have a setting to prioritize performance over battery saving, which might help. And just to be safe, always back up your data before tweaking any BIOS settings!
