Hey everyone! I'm looking for some feedback on my planned PC build. I'm working with a budget of $4000 and want to create a gaming setup specifically for playing titles like Ashes of Creation and Monster Hunter World. My current PC is fairly outdated with a GTX 1070, Ryzen 5 2600, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM, so I'm hoping to make a solid upgrade. While I've tried to stick to Amazon to avoid Newegg, I might be open to other retailers if necessary. I'd also love some advice on my parts list, especially since I have some concerns regarding the 50 series GPUs from NVIDIA. Here's my current Build:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- Motherboard: Asus PRIME B650-PLUS WIFI
- Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB DDR5-6000
- Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB NVME SSD
- Video Card: Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9070 XT
- Case: Fractal Design North XL
- Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 GT
- Monitors: Two Asus ROG Strix OLED 360 Hz
The total comes to about $3630, but I'm not set in stone with any of the components just yet. If you see any parts that are overkill or if there's a better option available, please let me know! Thanks in advance!

You could really trim down some costs here and still have a fantastic PC. The 9800X3D is a better choice for gaming, and sticking with a B650 motherboard should be enough for your needs. Also, that 4TB SSD is way overpriced; you can find some good alternatives that would leave you with extra cash for a more powerful GPU. And honestly, the case is massive! If aesthetics are a priority, consider a smaller version that doesn't sacrifice airflow.
If you're looking to save a bit, you might want to reconsider the CPU. The 7800X3D or the 9800X3D usually give you better performance for less money compared to the 9950X, especially since the latter's extra cores don't really help with gaming. Also, you definitely don't need 64GB of RAM for gaming unless you're really into modding. For your GPU, the 5070 Ti performs better than the 9070 XT, which could help stay under budget. Lastly, taking a second look at your cooling setup and power supply could save you some cash too!

Hey, just to add my two cents, getting two high refresh rate monitors might be excessive since you likely only need one for gaming. You can get a solid second monitor for less and invest in a better GPU instead. Also, I'd recommend a 1000W PSU for extra headroom.
