Hey everyone, I'm currently a university student with a broad understanding of various tech fields like networking, operating systems, data structures, algorithms, databases, and programming. I want a career that involves coding, but I'm a bit lost on what to pursue. I've dabbled in languages like C++, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js. Whenever I find job listings, they require specific programming languages, and by the time I get the hang of them, the jobs vanish! I'm leaning towards front-end development since it feels easier, but because of that, there seems to be a flood of applicants. I'm also open to back-end work, but each job seems to ask for different languages. Right now, I'm studying Python, but I'm unsure if it's the right choice. Should I stick with Python and create a project using it and SQL, or should I learn something different? Any career advice would be super appreciated!

I totally get where you're coming from! My advice? Consider focusing on skills that aren't as mainstream, like cloud computing or certain niche programming languages. If you enjoy coding, it might help to apply directly to jobs you're suited for instead of chasing after every new requirement you come across. You don’t need to match every job spec before applying. Learn what you can, but focus on applying for roles that fit your current skill set!
Hey! You might find it helpful to become a full-stack developer and also gain some cloud knowledge like AWS or Azure. Try building projects for your GitHub that address real-world business problems. For instance, do something with Python on the cloud, or work on a Next.js application in a cloud setup. Just remember, building practical applications is key!
Could you give some examples of business needs that aren't being met right now? That might help kickstart some project ideas!
