Hey everyone! I've been working on a big construction project and spent hours chatting with ChatGPT to gather relevant info. I asked it to compile everything into a comprehensive end-to-end guide for my crew, which it estimated would take 30 to 60 minutes to prepare. After checking back in an hour, it said it was compiling a lot of information and it would be worth the wait. Now, over 8 hours later, it keeps telling me it's almost done and finalizing the details. I'm starting to wonder if it's actually capable of finishing this task or if it's just stuck. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did you eventually get the document? I'm okay with waiting just for the sake of curiosity, but I'm not sure what to think!

It sounds like you might be encountering a common issue. When the requests are too big, ChatGPT can get stuck in a loop where it keeps saying 'almost done.' It might be better to break the document into smaller parts or to create an outline first. That way, you can get everything sorted out step by step!
I’ve had the same issue! I was trying to generate a simple PDF from my chat, and it just wouldn’t go through because of some formatting issues. I’m honestly considering canceling my subscription over this.
Yeah, it can be so frustrating! Hopefully, they sort it out soon.
