I'm looking to improve my coding skills but I often find myself starting and stopping, which makes it hard to remember what I've learned. I want a platform that offers a structured daily plan to keep me on track. I came across Codefinity, which apparently offers guided tracks with short lessons and daily goals, including topics like Python and SQL, all accessible in the browser. However, since they don't have a free version, I'm hesitant to spend money if it isn't effective. Has anyone used Codefinity, and does it really help with maintaining motivation and consistent learning? Are there any better alternatives out there for someone who struggles with motivation?

After spending some time on freeCodeCamp, I noticed Codefinity has a different approach. You start practicing right from the get-go without much reading first. For instance, when learning lists, I had to write my_list = [1, 2, 3] just minutes into the course. It helped reinforce the material much faster!
I completed the beginner Python track on Codefinity and it was surprisingly helpful. Much better than I had anticipated!
Have you given Codefinity a shot? I'm currently using it for learning Python and so far, it’s been great!
Yes, I’m using it now to learn Python too!
I really enjoyed the SQL course on Codefinity. One standout moment was learning how to sort data using ORDER BY and filter it with WHERE. It felt straightforward and really clicked for me.
I'm doing that now! Just wrapped up the GROUP BY section. It's actually been helpful in my job when I needed to analyze SQL reports.
Totally! I remember that lesson! They used a mock 'customers' table, right? The examples are relatable and it made the concepts easier to grasp.
I found Codefinity to be better than I expected! I’ve tried other platforms but always ended up quitting. With Codefinity, the short lessons helped me feel like I was making real progress. I’m currently working through the complete Python path and loving it!
Was it easy to get the hang of?
