I've recently transitioned from Azure to AWS and received $1,000 in startup credits. One of my main features relies on DeepSeek for classification, but I'm running into a validation error when trying to access Amazon Bedrock. My CTO set up an EC2 instance successfully, so it seems like it's specifically an issue with Bedrock. I've checked permissions on both my root and IAM accounts, and everything looks fine. I also contacted support for a different issue, but my ticket has been unresolved for 17 days. I submitted another ticket yesterday regarding the Bedrock issue, but I'm not optimistic about a quick resolution. Is it common for accounts to face this sort of restriction? I've heard we should be able to use startup credits for Bedrock. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Amazon Bedrock can have some unexpected restrictions; you might need to request access through the console before you can use it, even if you have credits. The model access requirements are sometimes different from general AWS permissions. I know how frustrating ticket delays can be—consider reaching out to someone in your startup program if you have a contact there.

Request access through the console? How exactly do I do that? I just made a new ticket today to get this sorted, but it feels like their support is worse than what I experienced with Azure.
