I recently installed EndeavourOS on my late 2015 MacBook Pro, which I barely use anymore. As a former Windows user, I was excited to experiment with Linux, especially since I have EndeavourOS set up on my desktop. However, I've run into some serious issues. The Wi-Fi wouldn't connect on my MacBook, so I decided to create a bootable USB with Pop!_OS to give that a try instead. But here's the kicker: I can't get my MacBook to boot from the USB drive at all! I've tried holding the option key when starting up, but that didn't work. The function keys also seem to be unresponsive, and after just a few seconds, it boots directly into EndeavourOS. Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions on how to resolve this? I really appreciate any advice you can provide!

I don't have much experience with Macs, but have you tried holding Command + R during boot? That might help.
Make sure your Mac has an Intel processor. If so, holding the Option key on startup should ideally bring up the boot menu to select your USB. If that doesn't work, you might want to try using another keyboard. I once had a similar issue, and using an external keyboard worked for me. Good luck!
It does have an Intel CPU! Funny enough, the external keyboard did the trick and let me access the boot menu when I pressed Alt. It's strange that the Mac's built-in keyboard wasn’t working for that.

I did try, but it seems like none of the MacBook commands are working anymore. I'm worried that the recovery partition got deleted when I installed EndeavourOS.
