Help! Can’t Roll Back to Windows 10 After Installing Windows 11

I just updated to Windows 11 a few hours ago, and even though it's been less than 10 days, I can't revert back to Windows 10. The 'windows.old' folder is still taking up about 50GB, so I know my old files should be there. However, when I try to use the 'Go back' option in the settings, it tells me I can't. Is there anything I can do to get back to Windows 10?

Before you do anything, make sure to back up your data! It's always a smart move to keep regular image backups to avoid this mess in the future. You can use tools like Macrium Reflect to help with that. It's free and great for protecting your data.

If the 'Go back' option is disabled, you're probably out of luck. Unfortunately, you might have to reinstall Windows 10 from scratch. While it's a hassle, it could give you a chance to clean up your system in the process.

Reinstalling might be your best bet. Windows 11 hasn’t been the most popular update, so starting fresh can sometimes be the cleanest solution. Just ensure you’ve backed everything up first!

Regular backups are key! Look into getting a portable SSD to store your important files. They’re affordable and a lifesaver if you need to recover your system.

If you can, get your hands on a cheap 2230 SSD and make a portable backup. It’s easy and can save you from losing files in the future!
