Help! I Think I Bricked My PC After Trying to Upgrade Windows

Hey everyone, I need some help! I recently installed Windows LTSC on my old PC for some work-related tasks, but then the software I needed didn't run properly. So, I tried to upgrade to regular Windows 10, but I ran into a ton of issues. The assistance tool and the media creation tool wouldn't work. I even tried downloading the .iso file and running setup.exe, but that didn't go well either. Now I'm stuck, as I really only have one option left: flashing the .iso onto a USB. I did that before for the LTSC installation, but it just shows the Windows logo for a second and then flickers out to a blinking cursor. It feels like I've soft-locked myself. Any advice? By the way, I'm using Windows LTSC 2021 Enterprise IOT 21H2 19044.5737.

Running LTSC on consumer hardware can cause compatibility issues. It’s really not designed for regular use. I recommend trying to create a bootable USB from a different system with a standard Windows installation instead. That might help you get around the issues you're facing right now.

Before you continue with USB installs, make sure you can exit the installer safely. You don’t want to force a shutdown if it's in the middle of something. Just try to see if you can regain access to your BIOS or recovery options to break out of whatever loop you're in.
