Hey everyone! I'm excited to start building my first gaming PC and I've put together a list of parts that I'd like your feedback on. I'm new to this whole process and there's a lot to learn about PC components. I plan to use the PC for gaming and some work-related tasks. I enjoy playing MMORPGs and FPS games, so I want to make sure it's capable of handling those. Here's the link to the parts I've selected: [My Build List](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/9KyrC8). Any advice or suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like a solid build for a first-timer! Just remember, cooling might be a little excessive if you're not planning to overclock. Switching to a good air cooler can help keep your costs down while still providing adequate cooling. As for the case, the Montech XR is indeed a great pick for both functionality and style! You've got the right idea; tweaking a few parts could enhance both performance and your savings.

I appreciate the feedback! Do you have any recommendations for a monitor that would go well with this setup?

I’d suggest saving some money by opting for a more budget-friendly motherboard, like the Asus Prime B650 Plus WiFi. Unless you need advanced features or plan to overclock heavily, it seems like overkill for what you’re building. Check out this [7600X bundle](https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/BDL_MM00004507) as it offers similar performance to the 9600X for less cash. Also, consider switching to an air cooler instead of an AIO since it's more than what you need for an AMD 6-core CPU. If aesthetics are what matter to you, keep the AIO. Finally, the Montech XR is a great case at a fantastic price, and you might find a more affordable option for the 9070 XT as well. All in all, these changes could save you around $275! You’ve done a great job picking parts as a newbie!

Thanks for the insights! I wasn't too sure about the motherboard choice. It's nice to get some expert advice.
