I just installed Fortnite, but I'm really frustrated because the game keeps freezing and lagging. My graphics are set to auto, so they should be optimized for my PC. I'm often hitting over 330 FPS for short bursts, but then it suddenly freezes and drops to 0 FPS for several seconds. I've tried lowering the graphics settings and adjusting anti-aliasing—something that worked for me in GTA—but nothing seems to help. I've also updated my NVIDIA drivers, but the issues persist. This is actually the second time I've installed the game; it ran fine the first time. Any suggestions on what I can do to resolve this?

I've played League of Legends and World of Warships on my decade-old PC without any problems. If you want, you could try downloading those and see how well they run. If they work fine, then the issue might just be with Fortnite. If not, it could indicate a larger problem with your computer.

I did try that, but even when I capped it at 60 FPS, the stuttering still happens.
