Help! My Gigabyte Motherboard Won’t POST – Red DRAM Light Issue

I'm building a new PC and am stuck with an issue where my Gigabyte motherboard isn't POSTing. I attempted to update the BIOS using the 'Q Flash' method as per the instructions. While the motherboard powered on for a few minutes and then shut down (which I assumed meant the update was successful), I'm still facing problems. Every time I try to power it on, the red DRAM light stays on and it won't POST. I've done a lot of searching online, and the only recurring advice is to update the BIOS. However, as far as I can tell, I've already done that. I'm really at a loss for what to try next. My setup includes a B850 Aorus motherboard, a Ryzen 5 9600X processor, and 32GB of CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM (2x16GB) running at 6000MHz CL36-44-44-96 1.35V with Intel XMP 3.0.

First off, check which RAM slots you're using. It's usually best to have them in slots 2 and 4 for dual-channel configuration. That said, it sounds like your setup is detecting an issue with the RAM seating if the red light is still on. You might want to consult your motherboard manual for more details on what the red DRAM light means. A photo of the light could help too, just in case anyone spots something specific!

I've had similar issues before! If the manual says the light indicates a seating problem, maybe try reseating the sticks completely or testing them one by one in slot 2 to rule out a bad stick.
