Hey everyone,
A few months back, my first graphics card (a Gigabyte) suddenly failed, causing my screens to go black and the fans to go crazy. I think it was a manufacturing issue, but thankfully, I got a replacement under warranty.
Now I've built a new PC and installed the replacement GPU, but I'm facing the same problem again! In the last week, I've experienced two instances of black screens, super loud fans, and complete freezes. I'm really worried that this replacement card might also be dying, and I probably won't be covered this time.
Here are my specs:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- **GPU:** NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER
- **Integrated GPU:** AMD Radeon (part of the CPU)
- **OS:** Windows 11
- **RAM:** 32 GB

If you need more info, like temperatures or logs, just let me know. I appreciate any help you can offer before it's too late!

If you're using the same 12vhpr cable from your old GPU, you might want to swap it out for a new one. It can make a difference.
Have you tried rolling back your GPU drivers to version 566.36? A lot of users say that's the most stable version right now.
I wonder if it could be your PSU? Sometimes power supply issues can cause these kinds of problems.
