Help! My iPhone is Locked to Owner and I Can’t Access It

I forgot the passcode to my iPhone 15 Pro, and after multiple attempts, it got locked. Now it says it's unavailable. I tried resetting it, but now I'm stuck with the 'iPhone locked to owner' message. To make things worse, Apple disabled my iCloud, even though I have the correct credentials. To submit a request for activation, I need the original receipt along with the store's name and address, but I don't have the receipt because it's with the owner of the store. I'm really frustrated and need some advice on what to do next!

Honestly, your best bet is to get that receipt or contact the original owner to see if they can help you out. Without it, dealing with Apple can be a real hassle. If that doesn't work, you might need to recycle it and look for another option. Just remember to check for future purchases: keep all receipts somewhere safe!

Thanks, I wish I had thought of that before! It was a second-hand buy so I don’t really know how to reach them anymore. It’s just super tough right now.

First off, verify if you can unlock your Apple account by visiting the support links. If you can't unlock it due to iCloud being marked unsupported, try to get the original receipt or find out if the store can issue you a copy. It’s important for proving ownership!

Yeah, I'm in a tight spot since I bought it used and there's no Apple Store nearby. This makes everything a lot harder. Thanks for your support!

It’s tough when you get locked out like that. Just so you know, Apple typically doesn't disable accounts without a valid reason. Have you checked the official Apple support page for unlocking your account or removing the Activation Lock? They have some useful steps you can follow. If your iCloud was disabled due to suspicious activity, you might need to provide proof of ownership, like your receipt. Try reaching out directly to Apple support as soon as possible!

I feel you! It’s frustrating not being able to reach out when you need the phone for school. Hang in there; maybe check if you can get a digital copy of the receipt from the original buyer? That might help!
