Hey everyone! So, I had an unfortunate accident where my iPhone fell out of my pocket and tumbled down a flight of stairs. Luckily, the screen just got a tiny crack, which I think is only in the protective film. However, the day after the fall, I woke up to find that I have no mobile data access at all. I tried removing my SIM card and even tested an eSIM, but no luck. My boyfriend's iPhone was able to read my SIM, so it's not the card itself that's the issue. Now I'm left without access to my number and relying on a portable WiFi box!
Could the fall have completely ruined my phone's mobile data capabilities? Is it worth getting it repaired? I bought the phone in 2022, and besides this issue, it has been working fine!

It sounds like the internal antennas might have taken a hit during the fall. They're usually pretty secure, but given your situation, it's possible something got damaged. Repairing the antenna should be doable, but it depends on the repair shop. If it’s just antenna damage, it could be worth fixing!

Hmm that might be it! Do you think a repair would be worth the cost? I really don't want to buy a new phone since everything else is working fine.
