I'm really frustrated right now. I just moved my laptop from one side of the room to the other, and now it seems like I broke something along the way. I can't open any applications like Steam, Google Chrome, or OBS. The only thing that works is Microsoft Edge. I can access the task manager, but it just shows Steam like it's judging me! I'm using an Acer Nitro V16, and it was working just fine until today. I have no idea what happened. Please, any help would be appreciated!
Update: Thanks for the advice, everyone! I tried restarting since some thought I hadn't, and eventually, just posting here seems to have made things work again. Technology is so weird sometimes!

The first thing I'd suggest is to try restarting your computer. It might sound basic, but sometimes that's all it needs to shake off any glitches. Just be prepared that it might not work the first time, so try it a couple of times if needed.

Ah fixed now. All I had to do was whine on Reddit and it magically fixed itself. The fix was restarting my computer over and over until everything worked again!
