Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a bind here and need your help. I'm traveling and can't get to a specialist. Here's the situation: I used my laptop normally in the morning, left it open and unused for a few hours until it went into sleep mode. When I returned, I found that the screen wouldn't turn on. I tried holding the power button to restart it, but nothing happened. Here's what I've tried so far:
1. The power button doesn't respond at all, not even a click or lights.
2. When I plug it into the wall, the charging light comes on, but it still won't turn on after fully charging.
3. I opened the laptop and used the power button directly on the motherboard, which turned on a light, but there was no activity from the laptop itself.
4. I even disconnected the power button from the motherboard and removed the battery, but it still didn't auto-start when plugged in.
I've checked for any visible damage and all cords seem connected. Does anyone have suggestions on what else I might try?

Check if your laptop has a reset button. You usually need something like a paper clip to press it for about 15 seconds. It might be hidden on the bottom of the laptop.
Have you tried using the Function key while pressing the power button? Sometimes, spamming the 'fn' key can trigger the laptop to respond, especially if you're supposed to access the BIOS through it.
No luck with that either. Pressing 'fn' didn’t do anything, whether it was on battery or plugged in.
I thought I found it, but it turned out to be just a plastic nub, not a button. I’m hesitant because I don’t want to lose any data if it’s a full reset.
