I'm having trouble with my mom's HP laptop (Model 14-dq0052dx). It used to connect to Wi-Fi just fine, but now it doesn't even recognize any networks. When I check the network settings, instead of seeing the available Wi-Fi options, it shows a message that says to set it up, but when I try, it tells me something went wrong. I ended up factory resetting the laptop, and now it prompts me to connect to a network, but it indicates that I need to install a driver. You'll need to download the network adapter drivers. Since the laptop isn't connected to the internet, grab another device to download the drivers from the HP website, save them to a USB drive, and then transfer them to your mom's laptop. That should help you get her Wi-Fi working again!
