Help! My Mom’s Laptop Can’t Connect to Wi-Fi

I'm having trouble with my mom's HP laptop (Model 14-dq0052dx). It used to connect to Wi-Fi just fine, but now it doesn't even recognize any networks. When I check the network settings, instead of seeing the available Wi-Fi options, it shows a message that says to set it up, but when I try, it tells me something went wrong. I ended up factory resetting the laptop, and now it prompts me to connect to a network, but it indicates that I need to install a driver. I'm pretty lost with tech stuff—my experience mostly includes gaming on an Xbox and using my phone. Is her laptop toast, or is there a way I can fix this? Thanks for any help!

You'll need to download the network adapter drivers. Since the laptop isn't connected to the internet, grab another device to download the drivers from the HP website, save them to a USB drive, and then transfer them to your mom's laptop. That should help you get her Wi-Fi working again!

So just to clarify, I can find the driver for her specific model on another laptop, put it on a USB, and then load it on hers? Got it, I'll try that once I find a USB. Thanks a ton!
