I recently noticed some strange stripes on my ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q3A monitor. Everything was working fine until yesterday, but now when I turn it on, these stripes appear. I've tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps like updating the driver, changing the refresh rate, deleting recently installed apps, resetting monitor settings, updating Windows, and even the classic unplugging and plugging back in. I even took a screenshot, and the lines don't show up in it, which worries me that there might be a hardware issue. Right now, I can't afford a new monitor, and I really hope this one isn't broken!

It might be worth trying a different display cable to see if that fixes the issue. Also, check if there's a "quickfit" function in your monitor settings that you can turn off, as that can sometimes cause display problems.
If the new cable doesn't help, it could be a monitor issue. But let’s hope for the best!
Thanks! I’ll pick up a different cable when the store opens. Fingers crossed that’s it!
