I've been dealing with an issue where my monitor randomly goes black, but it's not a sudden blackout. Instead, it artifacts for a bit before turning back on. This started happening just a couple of days ago. I have a Ryzen 7 5700X, RX 9060 XT with 16GB, a B550M DS3H motherboard, 32GB DDR4 at 3600MHz, a 1TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD, and I've had my Samsung Odyssey monitor for only a few months. I haven't faced this problem when using my PS5, so could it possibly be a Windows 11 issue? This is my first post here, so I appreciate any help!

It’s hard to pinpoint the issue right away, but a good first step is to try swapping out the cable. If that doesn’t solve it, check if the problem persists with a different monitor or TV connected to the same GPU port. You could also test your monitor on another port of the GPU to narrow down the cause. There could be driver issues, but that doesn’t seem to match your symptoms. I recommend booting into safe mode, using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove the current drivers, and then reinstalling the latest ones to see if that helps.

I’ll definitely give the cable swap a shot! I’m also thinking it might be a power issue, so I'll try plugging it directly into the wall instead of using an extension. Thanks for the suggestions!
