Hey everyone! I recently moved to a new place, and since then, my mouse has been acting up. I'm using Windows 11 on an iBuyPower prebuilt PC with an RTX 4070 and a 13700KF processor. My old mouse, which I've had for about six years, started stuttering and freezing, even though I checked for trapped hair and couldn't find anything. I decided to get a new mouse, the Lamzu Maya X, but I'm still experiencing similar issues.
The mouse sometimes seems to randomly stutter, freeze, or even speed up while I'm using it, making it hard to click accurately. It's especially frustrating in games where precise movements matter. I've updated both the mouse and its dongle firmware and made sure to check for any debris, but nothing seems to help.
Weirdly, I only noticed the problem after moving, even though my router is closer now. I use a wireless mouse, and I haven't noticed any other problems with my computer after transporting it. Any thoughts on what I could do or check next? Thanks!

Have you tried switching the USB dongle to a different port? Sometimes just moving it to another USB 3.0 port can solve these connection issues. Make sure it's plugged into a port that's not crowded with other devices to improve performance.
You might want to check your BIOS settings or any recent updates. Sometimes those can mess with mouse responsiveness. Just be careful with your data—back it up before making any major changes to your system!
First, check what surface you're using your mouse on. It can make a big difference! Some mouse pads can interfere with the mouse sensor, so make sure it's a good, even surface. If possible, try using a different mouse pad or even just a plain piece of paper to see if that helps.
I have a fairly large mouse pad and keep it clean, but I'll definitely give that a try!
