Help! My New 7900 XT Won’t Display Anything

I'm having a tough time getting my new Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XT to display anything on my screen. Here's what I've got in my setup: I'm using Windows 11 and previously had a Corsair CX550M 550W power supply, but I've now upgraded to an MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 750W one. I removed my old NVIDIA 1660 Super to install the 7900 XT.

Here's a quick rundown of what I've done so far:
1. The old PSU worked without any issues according to Pcpartpicker, but I couldn't get the system to post with it.
2. Once my new PSU arrived, I used the 1660 Super again to make sure things were working and installed Windows 11 without problems.
3. After that, I shut the machine down, switched to the 7900 XT, and tried to boot up. I got a popup saying, 'Unsupported graphics card: There is a problem with your graphics card. Please ensure your card meets the minimum system requirements and that you have the latest drivers installed.'
4. I attempted to install the latest AMD drivers, but my screen went black for about 20 minutes. After that, I restarted but got no visuals at all—no post or anything.
5. I swapped back to the 1660 Super and ran into trouble with that as well, so I downloaded the latest chipset and driver updates. Still no joy with the 7900 XT.
6. Finally, I ran the AMD cleanup utility to remove previous drivers and rebooted, but still nothing. Anyone have any idea what else I can try?

Make sure to remove all previous graphics drivers, including the ones for NVIDIA. Using DDU in safe mode for the cleanest removal is highly recommended. If the card still doesn't work afterward, it might be faulty.

I ran the cleanup utility already, but I'll try the DDU method in safe mode just to be extra thorough. I appreciate the advice!

Have you tried plugging your monitor directly into the motherboard to use your integrated graphics? This can help troubleshoot whether it's an issue with the new GPU. Also, it's important to completely uninstall the old NVIDIA drivers using DDU before switching to an AMD GPU. It ensures a clean install for the new drivers!

I haven't tried that yet, but I'll definitely give it a shot. Thanks for the tip!

If you can, test the 7900 XT in another PC to see if it displays there. Sometimes, it's just a matter of a defective card. Also, make sure you’ve replaced all the power cables coming from the new PSU for the 7900 XT!

I don't have access to another PC right now, but I did check all the cables and they seem fine.
