Hey everyone! I'm really excited about my new CPU I got for my birthday, but I'm facing a major issue. When I play games, everything runs smoothly, but my CPU temperature shoots up to a crazy 100 degrees Celsius on average. I'm using a 4060 graphics card and a 13600KF processor. Can anyone offer some tips or solutions to fix this? I'd really appreciate it!

Check your cooler! If you upgraded to a beefier CPU but are still using the old cooler, it might not handle the heat well. I had a similar problem when I switched CPUs. Make sure everything is properly installed and that your cooler is adequate for your setup.

If you got a new AIO cooler, don’t forget to peel off the thin plastic cover before installation. Also, reapply thermal paste if you haven’t already. Helps the temperatures a lot!

It's crucial to know if your setup is prebuilt or custom. Are all your fans spinning? What type of cooler do you have—AIO or some aftermarket cooler? I suggest reseating or repasting the CPU cooler if things look suspicious.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely check all that out.

You might want to reseat your CPU cooler. Sometimes, there's protective plastic on the heatsink that gets missed during installation, which can cause overheating.
