Help! My PC Crashed After a BSOD – What Can I Do?

I recently got a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with the message 'PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA'. After the BSOD, my computer managed to boot, but it crashed again about 15 minutes later. Now, it won't start at all—the boot menu doesn't come up, and when I try to turn it on, the monitor goes black, and it seems like the computer is still running. I'm really not sure what's causing this issue, and I'm looking for any advice or troubleshooting steps. What could be wrong?

There are a few things to consider. If your BSOD mentioned any specific codes or driver issues, those could give clues to the root of the problem. Try reseating your RAM and powering on again while hitting the BIOS/UEFI access button. If that doesn't work, test your system with just one RAM stick at a time to see if either is faulty. Ultimately, this could be a sign of bad RAM, a failing hard drive, or even problematic drivers from recent updates.

Got it! But what do you mean by using one stick of RAM? Do I just take one out and boot up?

To diagnose this, first check for any dump files that can help analyze the BSOD. If you can get into Windows, look in C:WindowsMinidump for any files there. If you find any, zip them up and share them using a file sharing service (catbox.moe or mediafire.com work well). Also, if you can't boot normally, try entering Safe Mode. It could be helpful to have multiple dump files for a clearer picture of what's going wrong.
