Help! My PC Keeps Crashing After Upgrading to an RTX 4070

I just upgraded my PC by adding an RTX 4070 and two 32 GB sticks of DDR4 RAM, but now I'm experiencing frequent crashes. My CPU is an Intel Core i5 11400, and I'm wondering if that might be part of the problem. Has anyone dealt with something similar?

It’s possible your PSU doesn't provide enough wattage after the upgrade. Have you reinstalled the Nvidia drivers since putting in the new graphics card? Also, check if you mixed different RAM kits, which can cause compatibility issues. Don’t forget to enable XMP in your BIOS if you haven't yet!

You might be running into issues because of insufficient wattage from your PSU or incorrect RAM speed settings in your BIOS. Make sure the RAM speed matches or is lower than the rated MHz in BIOS, and you should ideally have at least a 600-watt power supply.

How do I check what PSU I have? And if it turns out to be inadequate, what would you recommend I get?

First off, check if you're using just those two RAM sticks. Also, make sure your power supply unit (PSU) can handle the new hardware. Upgrading can sometimes push the system beyond its limits if the PSU isn’t sufficient.
