Help! My PC Keeps Restarting Without Crash Dumps – Any Ideas?

I've built a small form factor PC using an R5 7600X on the Asrock B650i Lightning WIFI, cooled with a Corsair iQue Link 240mm radiator. Lately, the system has been randomly restarting, but I can't identify a pattern. WhoCrashed indicated that it could be a hardware, driver, or thermal problem. I've gone through all the hardware and replaced almost everything, including the PCIe riser, and cleaned up the drivers multiple times with DDU, but the issues persist. I've monitored the CPU temperatures, and they stay below 76-77 degrees Celsius (it's set to BIOS eco mode). The odd part is that after the restarts, there are no event log entries or crash dump files recorded.

I tried disabling auto-restart in Windows, but now I can't boot at all. I end up getting an IRQL BSOD when trying to start, and sometimes I see the BitLocker screen, but the system freezes and I can't interact with anything.

It sounds like you're dealing with a tricky issue. First, make sure you check the C:WindowsMinidump folder when you can boot into Windows (or Safe Mode). This folder contains dump files which are crucial for diagnosing BSODs. If you find any, zip them up and share via a file sharing site like mediafire or catbox.moe.

Also, consider adjusting your system settings to enable Small Memory Dumps; this could help capture more useful data going forward. If you can’t access Windows at all, trying a fresh install usually helps too, but it might complicate troubleshooting since you need those dump files. Let us know how it goes!

What version of Windows are you running? And can you at least boot into recovery or Safe Mode? It's crucial to know what OS version you have, especially if you just reinstalled Windows 11. Sometimes, recent updates can lead to unexpected issues. If you’ve just reinstalled, it’s possible your system hasn’t crashed long enough to generate new dump files. Keep monitoring it!
