Help! My PC Should Meet the Requirements for Windows 11, But It Says Otherwise!

I'm trying to upgrade to a new SSD for my operating system because I need more storage. However, whenever I attempt to install Windows 11, I keep getting a message saying my PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements. I checked with the health check app, and it confirms that my system supports Windows 11. Plus, I'm already running it! My specs are: Processor - i5 8400, RAM - 16 GB, and I have a 500 GB storage. Can someone help me troubleshoot this issue? Thanks!

Another workaround is to use the Rufus app to create a Windows 11 live USB installer. This can help you bypass the requirement checks. Just remember to check if you'll still be able to get updates afterwards.

The health check app can often give false negatives, so don't worry too much about that. I recommend backing up your data and preparing for a clean install. Use the Microsoft Media Creation tool to create a bootable USB. Make sure to power off your computer and disconnect any other drives besides the one you're installing Windows on. Then, enter BIOS and check that your settings are for Windows 11 (TPM enabled, UEFI mode, Secure Boot on). When installing, delete all partitions on the drive you're using. That should help you get past the requirements check!

This type of problem usually comes from how you're booting the installer rather than a hardware issue. Since you’re on Windows 11 already, your PC is likely fine. Make sure you're booting in UEFI mode and that TPM 2.0 is enabled in BIOS. If your disk is formatted as MBR, convert it to GPT using the mbr2gpt command in CMD with admin rights. Set up the USB with the official tool, not some other ISO. This should resolve the installation issues.

You can also try using the "WhyNotWin11" tool from GitHub. It's a great app that can tell you exactly what might be causing the issue. If it shows everything in the green, then just download the standalone update installer and run it. It does its own checks and updates your system without much hassle.
