Help! My PC Won’t Post After Installing a New Cooler

I recently tried to install a new cooler for my CPU, but now my PC won't post. When I have RAM installed, it powers on, turns off, then powers on again, but it never posts. If I remove the RAM, it powers on briefly but does not post at all. The fans are running and the LEDs on my peripherals light up. I've attempted a few troubleshooting steps like clearing the CMOS, reseating the GPU, and reseating the RAM. I'm not sure what else to do or what might be causing this issue. Any advice would be appreciated!

It sounds like you might need to check how securely the cooler is mounted. After you installed the new cooler, did you make sure that it's applying even pressure on the CPU? If it's not seated properly, it might cause issues with the memory controller. This is especially relevant for certain Intel CPUs, like the 12th or 13th gen, which have been known to have this issue. Just double-check that everything’s tight and in place.

Thanks for the tip! I actually went back and made sure it was all tightened down evenly. The cooler is properly seated now.
