I'm having an issue with my Samsung S21 Ultra. It forced an update and now it's asking for a 7-digit pin that I can't recall setting up. I've thought about doing a factory reset but would prefer not to lose all my data. I also know that Samsung removed the remote unlock option via Find My Phone and I don't see an option to reset my pin. Is there anything I can do? Additionally, if I end up needing to factory reset, is there a way to back up my gallery to my PC first?

It's always a good idea to use a password manager like Bitwarden to keep track of your pins and passwords. Your phone wouldn't just randomly set a 7-digit code unless it was set previously. In case you do end up needing to reset, make sure you back up your data regularly to avoid this in the future. Unfortunately, there's no way to retrieve your data if you can't unlock the device.
Have you checked if your device is automatically backing up to Google Drive? After a factory reset, you should be able to restore from that. Just keep in mind, it looks like you only have a small amount backed up—171MB doesn't sound like much. You might want to see if you can manually back up your gallery to your PC before making any big changes.
