Help! My Windows Update Caused a Black Screen – What Should I Do?

Hey everyone! I was using Windows 11 version 22H2 when I got a notification that my version had reached its end of life, prompting me to update. After the update, I encountered a blue screen of death, but a simple restart seemed to fix it temporarily, though it indicated the update had failed. The real trouble began when I tried to update again and ended up with a black screen. Restarting hasn't been working since then.

Here's what I've tried so far:
- Booting into recovery mode from the HP BIOS, but that didn't help.
- Attempting to access Task Manager and using the Windows + R shortcut, but nothing happens.
- I thought about switching to a different OS, so I tried booting from a flash drive with elementary OS, but got a black screen again.
- I also attempted to use a drive with Ubuntu, but that just resulted in a black screen too.
- I managed to boot Ubuntu in safe graphics mode, but I couldn't get any response from it.
- Finally, I remembered that I had a second hard drive with Pop!_OS that I installed recently, but after waiting for 20 minutes, I was faced with a gray screen.

Does anyone have any advice on what steps I can take next? I think I have a backup from around March and also a USB drive with Ubuntu server. I'm really stuck here!

If you can manage to boot into Windows at all (even in Safe Mode), try checking for crash dump files in C:WindowsMinidump. These logs can provide valuable information on what's causing the BSOD. If you find any, zip them up and share them using a file-sharing site. Having multiple files helps to analyze the issue better.
