Help with Installing Fedora on USB

Hey everyone! I'm trying to install Fedora on my USB drive using Rufus, but it mentioned that it's a hybrid ISO and that GRUB needs to be downloaded. When I tried to install Linux Mint before, it just said some files were missing. Does anyone know what might be going on? Should I use Fedora's tools to flash the drive instead? Thanks in advance!

You can definitely use Fedora Media Writer, but it's not a must. Just check if your USB stick is working after you've set it up with Rufus.

What you're seeing is likely because the Fedora installer image uses a different version of GRUB than Mint does. It's usually not a big deal, so don't stress too much about it.

We have some great installation tips on our wiki! Also, Smokey’s rule: always connect your device over Ethernet while installing and remember to remove the boot media once you’re done. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely look into the wiki and make sure to follow Smokey's advice.
