Help With Red Dot on My New RTX 5070 GPU After PSU Upgrade

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my power supply unit (PSU) to support my new RTX 5070 graphics card. I went with the recommended AP850 G White Edition PSU, which includes the new 12V 2x6 power cable that is supposed to fit. Everything powers up—RGB lights and fans are working—but I'm seeing a red dot on the GPU. I believe this means it's not getting enough power. I've double-checked all the connections, including ensuring that the 12V cable is plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard, but the issue persists. Additionally, I'm getting no display output and can't access the BIOS. Can someone explain what I might be doing wrong? My motherboard is an ASUS Z690 D4 TUF. Thanks!

It sounds like there could be a couple of issues here. First off, make sure the power cable is actually functioning. Sometimes cables can be faulty right out of the box. Check if your GPU came with a regular 8-pin to 12VHPWR adapter; try using that to see if it helps. If everything's plugged in correctly, the problem might be with the cable itself or the PSU.

What about the connections? Are you sure you plugged the 12V 2x6 cable correctly into the GPU? You want to make sure that the end with the 8-pin connectors is going into the PCIe slots on the card.
