I'm having a tough time with a client's Windows 11 system after switching their account from local to Azure AD. The user now faces an issue where the typing cursor flickers constantly while typing, making it really hard to work. Additionally, every time they click on something, the focus seems to be lost, which disrupts their workflow. I've tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps, like checking the User Profile Service, ensuring the input settings are right, updating drivers, disabling startup apps, and more. I've even created a new Azure AD profile, but the problem persists. I'm hesitant to disconnect and rejoin Azure AD for fear of causing more issues. Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions?

Sounds like a hassle! I’ve seen something similar happen with local machines and the Google Drive app causing flickering. Have you thought about booting in safe mode with the problematic profile to see if that helps?
Have you tried logging in with a different user? That can help isolate whether the issue is profile-specific. If it works with another user, creating a new Windows profile for the original user might be a solution.
There might be a background process hijacking focus. This often happens after joining Azure AD due to hidden prompts. Try running 'dsregcmd /status' to check if there's anything stuck causing this.
If all else fails, you might want to consider reimaging the system. That can sometimes resolve these persistent issues.
If you're still having trouble, it might be worth opening a ticket with Microsoft support. Since you're using their OS and Azure, they should be able to help you resolve the problem.
