I've been reflecting on my use of AI lately, especially since ChatGPT became popular. Initially, I would ask it quirky questions, but recently I've tried to limit my use to only when absolutely necessary, like for school assignments. I feel strongly that relying on AI for tasks that should be handled by people is problematic. While I understand AI can help with repetitive tasks, I really want to avoid it for things that require genuine human effort. I've even blocked certain AI services and committed to dodging ChatGPT whenever possible. I'm wondering if there are other areas in my life where I might inadvertently be using AI that I haven't thought of yet. Any suggestions?

You know, it really comes down to personal choice. If you're serious about cutting out AI, you have to be mindful of what you interact with. I found Google search results hard to escape from, so I switched to DuckDuckGo. It feels more straightforward for me, though I know it's not completely AI-free either. Just a thought!
Gotcha, thanks for the tip!
Honestly, I think avoiding AI altogether might be a bit extreme. There are many legitimate, helpful uses for it that can really boost productivity. For example, I use AI in search when it genuinely adds value, but I try to steer clear of tasks that don’t need it. Just make sure you don't completely shut yourself off from technology; that might leave you behind on some good innovations!
Love this response! Right balance is key.
I get where you’re coming from, but to say it’s absolutely necessary feels like a stretch. I've found AI quite beneficial and haven't really felt like it's replacing human diligence. At this point, avoiding it entirely may not be feasible—maybe we just have to adapt instead!
Upvote for the duck! Even if DuckDuckGo isn’t perfect, at least they make an effort to claim they’re more private than others.
