How can I disable the audio driver in Firefox?

I've been having trouble sleeping when Firefox is open because of the audio it keeps playing. I found an audio driver that looks like this: USB Audio Device (USBVID_0951&PID_16A4&MI_006&3321d09b&0&0000). I already have an audio switch in use, but I want to completely turn off this driver through a specific command (*powercfg /requestsoverride*). I'm a bit confused about how to do it if the command doesn't work. Can anyone provide some help on how to cancel this audio feature?

Have you thought about just muting your audio or turning down the volume? If it's mainly about sleeping, you could also power down your computer during the night.

I get that, but sometimes I need the PC to go to sleep without buzzing for a long period throughout the day. I’m not always shutting down the computer or closing the browser.

Have you tried reinstalling Firefox or adding any new extensions recently? That might help with the audio issues too.

I've had this setup for three years! I've tried almost everything I can think of.
