I'm looking to free up space on my SSD but I'm a bit nervous about what I should delete. I've already tried deleting temporary files, but I've heard some people suggest clearing everything in the AppData folder. I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Also, I moved the Program Files (x86) from my SSD to my HDD and managed to free up around 40GB, but I noticed that I still got that space back immediately after deleting the old files. If anyone has tips or suggestions for safely clearing up space on my SSD, I'm all ears!

I recommend using tools like Revo Uninstaller to safely uninstall programs and clean up associated files. It helps get rid of anything leftover that you might not need anymore. Just make sure to back up any important files you care about before making big changes!
Moving the Program Files folder like that can be risky if you didn't uninstall and reinstall the applications properly. It might break some installed software. As for deleting the AppData folder, I'd advise against it! It contains a lot of important settings and save files for your apps. Have you checked how large your SSD is? Using a tool like WinDirStat can help you see what's taking up the most space on your drive.
Instead of deleting system files, focus on clearing out personal files that you don't need anymore. It might be slower, but it's safer. Also, have you thought about backing up important files? Using cloud services like Google Drive can save your important stuff for free and give you peace of mind. If something goes wrong, you can always reinstall Windows and start fresh without losing everything important.
Also, my SSD keeps filling up fast! I just freed up 10GB and it's already down to 8GB!
