Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a predicament with my RX580 GPU, which only has a DVI-D Dual Link output. I recently bought a 1440p monitor, and after doing some research, I found out it supports 1440p at 60Hz and 1080p at 144Hz. The issue is, my computer settings currently only show 1080p at 60Hz. I can't afford to upgrade my GPU just yet, so I'm looking for some guidance on how to achieve the 1440p at 60Hz and the 1080p at 144Hz. Any help would be appreciated!

You might want to check out some adapters that convert DisplayPort to DVI-D dual link. I haven't seen reverse versions that go from DVI to DisplayPort, but it's not impossible. Just be cautious!

If you're going for an adapter, make sure it's an active one. I found one on VisionTek's site that claims to do the job, but I can't vouch for its effectiveness. Might be a gamble worth taking!
