Hey everyone! I just switched to Linux Mint (Cinnamon) today and it's been quite the journey. I'm trying to get Spyro Reignited Trilogy up and running, but I'm having some trouble. Steam installed Proton, but when I try to launch the game, it seems to start but then just fails without any loading screen. The Play button changes to 'Launching' and then goes back to 'Play'. I'm not sure what info you might need from me, but I'd appreciate any help!

What graphics card are you using? You mentioned using WineD3D, but if your GPU supports it, you should definitely switch to using Vulkan for better performance.

First, it helps to check out ProtonDB for any known issues with Spyro. You can find it at protondb.com/app/996580. Also, try changing the launch options in Steam to `PROTON_LOG=1 %command%`. This will create a log file in your home directory that can give you more clues on what's going wrong. Lastly, make sure your hardware supports Vulkan 1.3, as that's needed for Proton to run the game properly. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip! I used the ProtonDB link and it really helped me fix the problem.
