Hey there! I've been monitoring my PC's temperatures and they're getting pretty high. Under max load and during benchmarks, my GPU hits about 87C and my CPU reaches 91C, which is quite alarming. Even while I'm just playing Dead By Daylight, my CPU often spikes to around 70C at only 16% load, while the GPU stays around 80C at roughly 50% load. The GPU has run a bit hot for a while, but the CPU's high temp is concerning me, especially since I can't upgrade my hardware right now. I realized I didn't pay much attention to airflow when I built my PC, so I'm looking for tips to improve it before these temperatures cause damage. Thanks in advance! Here are my specs: I7-12700K, NZXT Kraken X AIO, EVGA RTX 3080 12GB FTW.

Those temps are definitely on the higher side, but not exactly dangerous for your GPU. For the CPU, it's a bit worrying, especially if it spikes that high even under light usage. Since your GPU is a bit older, it might be time to consider reapplying thermal paste or checking the thermal pads to ensure they’re doing their job. It could really help bring those numbers down!
Have you checked if your AIO pump is functioning properly? Sometimes they can fail silently. You might want to follow some troubleshooting steps to make sure it's still cooling efficiently. There are various guides online that can walk you through it.
I’ll definitely do that! How can I tell if the pump is dead? My system seems to be running fine, but I want to be sure.

Yeah, I agree! The CPU temp is what stands out to me too, especially since you're not running a demanding load. Definitely check the thermal paste if you haven’t done that already!
