Hey everyone! I have this bulky Acer PC, and I've noticed that after about 30 minutes of gaming, my room heats up significantly, almost like a sauna! My air conditioning isn't really helping because the thermostat is in another room. During winter, I could just crack the window, but summer makes that impossible. I was thinking of getting a standalone AC unit that vents heat out through my door, since my windows can't accommodate any AC designs. I'm curious to hear your thoughts and any solutions you've found for this issue. Thanks!

The best way to handle this might be to decentralize a bit. If you can't effectively move the heat outside with fans or an AC intake, consider relocating the PC to a different room. That way, the heat won't be trapped where you are!
Definitely try using a box fan to help with air circulation in and out of the room. Also, think about making your PC parts more efficient. I’m not sure how well it'll work venting an AC out the door; is it possible your windows are sealed? There are ventable AC units that might work if your window opens at least a couple inches!
1. I might try a box fan but prefer to keep my door closed most of the time. 2. My PC needs to run at max performance; it’s not just for gaming. 3. I was also considering making a custom exhaust for the AC to fit under my door, but I’m not sure how practical that idea is. My window is a casement type that opens outwards, so I'm not optimistic about using that.
