I'm looking for tips on how to reduce the cost of my PC build, which currently totals about $1700 using this part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WHKkKq. I mainly plan to use it for gaming and some home use but nothing too demanding outside of high-end games. Any suggestions on components I could change or things to consider to save some money?

Seriously though, why are you going for the 3060 Ti at that price? The new 5060 Ti 16GB comes at a similar cost! Plus, consider cheaper SSD options and maybe a less expensive case. I heard the Montech 903 is a good choice for around $65.
You might want to consider swapping the AMD Ryzen 7800X3D for a Ryzen 7600X. The 7800X3D is a bit overkill if you’ve got a slower GPU paired with it. I also upgraded your GPU to a 5060 Ti with 16GB, making some cuts elsewhere to save costs. Check out the updated list I made for you to see how it comes down to about $1460. Just trimming the fat can really make a difference! Here’s the list: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MT7y2x)
Check out this option: [Here's a link to my build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kNHJWc). If you drop to the Ryzen 5600X, you'll still have a powerful PC but at a lower price. You can also make some adjustments to the GPU and other components to keep costs down while maintaining performance!
Yeah, I agree. If you go for the 9070 XT, it’s close in performance to a 5070 Ti but could give you better value. Maybe look into some alternatives for the PSU while you're at it!
