How Can I Make Linux My Main OS Instead of Windows?

I recently set up Ubuntu alongside Windows on my laptop, and although I've tried using Linux for a while, I find myself constantly going back to Windows. I really want to stick with Ubuntu, but I feel like I need it for my college-related software (like NI Multisim and Proteus), and during recruitment, some companies require a specific browser that only works on Windows. Does anyone have tips on how to make the switch easier and stick with Linux?

Don't stress too much about forcing yourself to use Linux. If Windows has the specific applications you need, it's okay to use it. Daily driving Linux often means sacrificing some of the familiar features or finding alternatives. You're just tied to what your college requires right now.

I totally agree! At the end of the day, it’s about having the right tool for the job. You can always try running Linux alongside Windows to gradually adapt!
