I'm using Windows 11 and my setup includes a C drive, a recovery drive, a D drive, and an F drive. I want to merge the F drive into my C drive to make it larger, but the F drive isn't next to C in the disk layout. Since the F drive doesn't contain any data, I just want to combine it with C. What steps can I take to achieve this?

You might also consider making your C drive a dynamic drive. This option can help with extending it if you're facing issues with merging partitions.
You can use a tool like Minitool Partition Wizard Free to delete the F partition, which will allow you to move other partitions around and then expand the C drive. Just keep in mind that if the partitions aren't next to each other, deleting F will just let you merge it with D, not C directly.
Your approach of moving the recovery and D drives to the end looks solid! If you've eliminated the F partition successfully, you should be able to merge the extra space into your C drive.
Make sure to delete the F partition so it becomes unallocated space. That way you can merge it into C. Just ensure you have backups before making these changes, as altering partitions can sometimes lead to data loss.
Actually, just deleting F won't do the trick since of the layout. You’ll need to move the recovery partition or the D drive. A program like Easeus Partition Master can help you move those partitions to create space right next to C, after which you can delete F and expand C.
